Well we did it, after over two years of trying our new Glamping site is open at last.
So far we have had torrential rain, thunderstorms and now a heatwave, but the tents are still standing and still look amazing. Thank you Lotus Belle, these tents are quality and we love them.
It has been a learning curve from start to finish, with so many decisions, which toilet block, which firepit, which mattress etc etc etc. And now I have to write a blog!
To be honest I have no idea where to start , I am having to learn about meta descriptions and seo’s, who knew having a website could be so complicated. Thanks to Jon Lugg, jonlugg.co.uk, our website designer (is that the right word?!) for always being there to answer my questions and also to Dave Cox for our Branding which we love. Highly recommend both of them!
In just three weeks we have had amazing guests, some couples, some single and some with dogs, but all of them love Owley and Glamping at Owley Glampsite. They love the area, the walks, the great selection of pubs and the peace and quiet.
They appreciate the glamping quality that we have strived for, right down to the paper hand towels in The Owlet, ‘thick enough to dry yourself on’, was the comment by one guest!
They appreciate the complimentary chilled Owley Branded water from our neighbours at Cheddar Spring Water – www.cheddarwater.com – and the small jars of honey from the bees at Owley (thanks Bridget)
and they appreciate the doggy paddling pool to keep their best friends cool in the heatwave,
But most of all they appreciate the location….
