In 2020 we hosted a pop up campsite at Owley whilst applying for planning for our glampsite. Although a different type of camping with very basic facilities we received some amazing reviews from our lovely guests which further encouraged us to continue our plans.
Obviously the atmosphere and location remain the same so thought these may help anyone considering coming to stay with us this year.

Paula made us feel very welcome and looked after. Great walking map and advice on the local area. Everything is clean and well kept. We loved Max the cat, watching the donkeys playing in the next door field and and listening to the owls in the evening.“

“Loved Owley Woods site – perfect location to walk to the gorge and to town to some great pubs. Paula was lovely and happy to accommodate us when we arrived a bit early. The site is really lovely and marked out for social distancing too. The view is lovely from the upper parts of the field. It’s nice and small and quiet – one of my favourite campsites in a while! We had a really great stay and definitely appreciated getting a super helpful map when we reached!“
“Excellent location for Cheddar centre and amazing Mendip walks. The owners are really friendly and welcoming, very accommodating. Adults only which i liked as we had lie in which is sometimes hard on a campsite.
